Usually an accidental spill is all it takes to transform a notebook into an expensive paperweight. But most rugged notebooks designed to handle these spills don't offer the performance or multimedia trappings required for business use. Panasonic CF-25 is a suitable compromise between toughness and functionality. It has been designed using Military Grade MIL-SPD-810E test for drop, shock, moisture, dust, and vibration resistance. The casing-including the handle-is composed of a magnesium alloy that is tougher than ABS plastic. The hard drive is mounted in a shock-absorbing gel. The LCD and keyboard are sealed to offer protection against dust, moisture and spills. In addition, the ports are guarded with either water-resistant covers or rubber plugs.
Though
discontinued by Panasonic, Telrepco Inc. still offers the CF-25
as a low cost solution ideally suited to construction sites, gas, power
or water maintenance work, police or fire patrols and any other rugged field
applications. All of Telrepco’s Refurbished CF-25’s are thoroughly tested
and are recertified back to the original factory specs by Telrepco’s own
Panasonic trained technicians. Installation of NEW main battery is included. So
you can take this Toughbook anywhere without worrying about accidents and know
that Telrepco is there to support you.
